For Fat Ps3's you can install Custom Firmware (CFW). For slim and super slims you can install Hybrid Firmware (HFW), then install Homebrew Enabler (HEN) exploit. Once you can run Homebrew on your console, you can use various programs to copy the games to your hard drive. I like MultiMan to rip games, and Webman-Mod to run them.
